Moroccan Sunset is a spacious 3rd floor self-contained apartment recently renovated to very high standards in a Moroccan style. It is situated in the heart of the traffic-free UNESCO-protected medina. The apartment consists of a double bedroom, twin bedroom and large open-plan dining and lounge area. It has a large PRIVATE roof terrace with panoramic views of the medina, sea and (distant) Atlas Mountains. We can also arrange taxi transfers, private guided tours of the Medina, private cookery lessons and even private yoga lessons (on the terrace!). Salah can also advise about camel and horse riding and quadbiking.
Salah (our English speaking manager) will always be available to assist you and Fatima (our house keeper) will cook traditional Moroccan food and serve you in the apartment if requested at very reasonable rates . Also breakfast on the terrace. NEW ADDITION: The apartment has Wi-fi.
We also have a similar 2nd floor flat which can be combined with the 3rd floor by means of a common entrance if larger parties require it.
 

On the west coast of Morocco lies the Unesco World Heritage protected medina (walled town) of Essaouira. With its all-year temperate climate, traffic-free streets, beautiful beach, wonderful restaurants (both Moroccan and European) and coffee shops, it is a safe, tranquil and beautiful holiday resort for ALL the family.
It’s great for sunbathing, surfing, and water-sports, as well as camel and horse riding, quad-biking, and trips to the desert or mountains.
It is absolutely useless if you’re looking for loud night-clubs and all-night bars!

 

 

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

Marney & Simon says: "We spent 10 wonderful days in Essaouira on our honeymoon. Laury (owner) contacted us when we booked and sent us a packet of useful information and answered all our questions. He also arranged airport transfers. All very reassuring. Salah met us on our arrival and took us to the flat. GREAT! Terrace overlooks the spice and grain markets. We just sat up there with a drink and watched the world go by. Sometimes quite windy! Had a private tour with Abdul and a cooking lesson with Fatimah. Went quad biking and horse riding along the beach. All highly recommended - Fatimah doesnt speak English - so a little French is useful. Salah was always there when needed - friendly and helpful (plus good English!). We shall return - Inshallah (God-willing)."
