"The property looks immaculate on the pictures but when you arrive it is a different story. The house has fantastic gadgets and gizmos but we found it to be in need of some tlc and upkeep. The dishwasher was broken and the shower leaked and actually came through the living room ceiling and down the walls.
We loved the projector tv and ipod station and the outside space was nice.
With a bit of time spent on the house this property would be perfect.
Very disapointed with the sleeping arrangements as the property advertises that it sleeps 10. We were a party of 9 but provisions were only made for 8. It was a tight fit in the bedrooms with people sleeping on the sofa (which is not a sofa bed as it appears to be advertised). We were only there 2 nights so it was bearable but its not a property for a large party staying for a week."

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. The issues you raised have been investigated. The dishwasher was found to be in normal working order. It is unfortunate that nobody called to report this during your stay as someone could have clarified how to operate the dishwasher rather than you believing it was broken.
After testing the shower there was no evidence of the shower leaking, although some discolouration on the ceiling below was noted, possibly from someone overfilling the bath previously. IF we receive similar fedback in future of course a plumber will be called to investigate.
The property does sleep 10 guests, with the use of extra beds and a sofa-bed as described in the listing. Again if you had called to query the sleeping arrangements these could have been explained to you.

"We visited the property as a group pf 10 girls on a hen do.
We were disappointed to find that the property wasnt overly clean when we arrived. The house hadnt been dusted in a while and one of the girls complained about how clean the shower was.
For a group of 10 girls there wasnt adequate getting ready space, there were mirrors but not located next to plug sockets for hair dryers and straighteners, which was and would be a problem for any other rental.
The property was advertised to sleep 10, however the sofa beds downstairs in th lounge didnt really provide a comfortable nights sleep.
This property is great to sleep 8 people, but 10 could be uncomfortable.
On the whole the Big Brother house as we came to call it was ok, the great waether we had made up for it!"

We are surprised that you found the property not be overlycleaned upon your arrival. We always get reviews for this property and so it is unusual for such a complaint to arise. In future we would recommend that you call the property management company with a cleaning complaint and they will send out another cleaner to clean the property.
We have checked the mirrors and there are plug sockets 4" and 3" from the mirrors.
The sofa bed in the lounge is a king size sofa bed.
Were glad over all that you enjoyed your stay in Brighton.

Fun property finished to a high spec and well equipped with a very clear but not overly precious Conran-esque design ethic. Good, surprisingly tranquil location but close to the station and central Hove and Brighton. Parking was a bonus too. Would highly recommend - looks like just a great party house but it is also a great property for families and those with small kids as it has a safe enclosed garden and nice little touches like an optional stair gate etc. The wireless broadband connection worked well as did the sky channels, etc. You can rent a bigger place around here cheaper, but if you plan to spend any time in your holiday, let then. Id say go for quality and aesthetics over size and stay here!"

| "Myself and 9 of my friends booked The Edge apartment for a Hen Weekend. The property was exactly as it looked in the advertisment so we were very pleased, however the advertisment did state that there were two allocated parking spaces for the property when in fact there was only one. Parking restrictions around the property last all day but are very cheap. The property is slightly off the beaten track which suited us as we felt we didnt have to keep the noise down to much! I would definately recommend this property to groups!"
