"We were all pleased with this peaceful property, only 5 minutes walk from the market, supermarket and shops but ever so quiet. The pool was great, and we virtually lived on the terrace."

"On entering the Villa -we were surprised no "welcome pack" of basic provisions ,which I would have gladly paid upfront for . Specially as most flights touch down at late times. We also found out that "oven not cleaned" -barbecue filthy . I,am not sure who this is down to ? -but RICH-KIM who live in DALYAN and look after local villa,s - sorted out the issues before our arrival. plus the "welcome pack" . I also find it strange that the VILLA can sleep potentially 5 -adults the SUNBED situaton fine but only 2 -cushions avaliable -were,as the VILLA next to NEMARA - had 6 adults all with SUNBEDS/CUSHIONS on - patio wise the table has a mix of different plastic seats of which 2 were damage prior to arrival replaced with smaller versions -by local REP ? -we also had on 2 occasions other people being shown around while here. All small issues I suppose -but just takes edge of of a very nice/well established VILLA -close to town.I would consider staying here again -and would probably book now for next yr ,if the niggly issues sorted and RICH/KIM WERE THE AGENT ."

"Within 5-10mins of the main restaurant area and boats down the beautiful river to the stunning beach. We had a great time here. We enjoyed the local activities such as the mud baths, canoing on the lake, early morning turtle spotting and moonlit dinner on the lake. The outside of the house is lovely with a nice garden and well maintained pool. Inside the house itself is nice with aircon and mozzy screens over the windows. A good kitchen. Good bathroom. The area the house is in could be a little nicer with a couple of short untidy unmade roads between you and the town centre but you can see hills in the distance and they are mostly well lit. My only complant is that the master bed fell to bits the night we arrived. But! But! But! The locals managing the flat (from a carpetshop in town) were very kind and helpful. Would stay here again."

"Outside space and pool very good. Villa needs a lick of paint and general tidy. Upstairs bathroom drains smell. Keys missing to 2 locks on veranda grills, unable to make use of these during our stay despite contacting owner and "promise" of locksmith. No cusions on sunlounger chairs."

Owner reply: :
Drains have been dealt with by the plumber who corrected a defect in the drain between the house and the sewer. New locks have been fitted to the security grilles at the front veranda and kitchen. The renter told my manager that opening the grilles was not important which was why it was not dealt with during the renters short stay. Redecoration has been carried out where needed.

"Just had a great two weeks in Vila Nemara, lovely villa and great pool in a good location. Only took us 10 minutes to walk into town, although we found it easier to turn left out of the villa, down to the main road which led you to the harbour and town centre, rather than follow directions out of the information pack. Everything worked ok and the villa had all you need for a relaxing holiday. No problems from the villas which have been built either side, still very private. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend this villa. As always Ahmet and his team were very friendly and helpful at all times. Thanks Alan "

"we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa nemare. the villa itself was very clean and the pool was just fantastic. We had very little noise from the villas round about, transfers to and from the airport were very efficient, everything in the villa was in good working order. The only thing the boys didnt like was when they had to walk from the centre of the village back to the villa and there weren't any street lights. All the shops and restaraunts were walking distance. We had anticipated hiring a car but we didn't need to.we've already reccomended this villa to friends. Thanks a lot Alan."

"This is a great villa, and there are no reasons at all not to rent it! Everything works as it should do (not always the case in Turkey!), it is in a convenient, quiet part of Dalyan, the pool is large and kept scrupulously clean, and in summary we had a blissful week there - thanks Alan!"

"The property is located in an area still under development with unsold plots surrounding it. No building work was being undertaken at the time however. The space around the villa added to the airy feeling but whether or not this will remain as development continues is questionable. During our stay there was no noise experienced and the villa is located a sensible but convenient short walk from the main town, thereby minimising any noise potential should it occur in town, which it didn't, as Dalyan is not a town for ravors. The accommodation was very good with comfortable beds and air conditioning in all bedrooms and the dining room. This was very effective at keeping the property cool on the hottest days. We expereinced some noise from the air conditioning in the twin room which seemed to stop if you tapped the side but the wife snores so with muffle wax in your ears there was no problem! The kitchen is well equipped and the pool and garden are very nice, with regular daily attendance. Anti slip matting around the pool could assist with the very slippery but attractive marble terracing around the pool, i actually slipped and fell in! For the future the owner might consider making two sets of keys available as we were a party of four with two sets of couples wishing to sometimes do their own thing. The one set of keys left us resorting to hiding them in the garden so the other couple could find them. The internal noise generated by doors echoing on the solid internal flooring also took some getting used to and meant that anyone opening or closing a door in the night inevitably woke someone else up. However the absence of carpets is obviously the reason and is to be expected in a hot country where carpets are only to be found in local shops, rather than in actual dwellings. Another pleasant surprise was the lack of mosquitos in Dalyan. This issue was a major concern to two of us in the party as of course Dalyan sits on a river delta. However, the municipality has this under such control that we did not see a single mosquito during our stay at the end of July, although we did manage to see a number of turtles. Chartering a boat in Dalyan is a must at least once during anyones stay.We paid £70 to hire a boat for the whole day for just the four of us and a fantastic lunch was provided, making this just £17.50 a head. You can get cheaper if you want to sit on a boat with forty other people but the extra makes all the difference and the captain will tailor the day to suit you and not the other 36. As usual the Turkish people were very helpful and polite and some continental and english restaurant owners would do well to visit Turkey to learn the meaning of customer awareness. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Villa Nemara in Dalyan and would recommend them both to anyone wishing to visit Turkey for a relaxing break. Steve Nicholls "
