The kids all made the most of the pool pool lights meant we could use it at night as well. A good pool was necessary as the nearby beach wasnt very nice, but then it is easy enough to drive to the beach at Coral Bay. Having a large car included with the villa was fantastic and was very useful and being a four-wheel drive meant we could take a trek through the Akamas which was very enjoyable. There was a helpful neighbour who cleaned the pool and answered any questions and the villa owner next door very kindly lent us loads of dvds which kept everyone entertained when it rained occasionally. The apartment was bigger than expected and clean and well furnished. We were pleasantly surprised to find many useful items around the apartment needed for cooking, cleaning and washing- as well as Satellite TV with many channels. The only weak point was the concierge- a nice man but he spoke not even French so communication was impossible and he was unable to help with any of our calls for advice or assistance. This did not spoil our stay though. There are local grocery stores, cafes and even a pizza hut within 5 mins walk. Marrakech centre is a good 20/30 min walk and the Jemaa El Fnaa a further 10 mins. Its a pleasant and enlightening walk all the way as all the hustle and bustle of Marrakech life is along the way. Overall we felt very much at home in this apartment. Thank You Mr Omar. The only problem we had was one with water which ran out due to problems not related to the property, but this was quickly sorted. The swimming pool and outside area was very nice and well maintained and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The house is in a nice, quiet estate not far from the main town and we felt very safe there. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to families or groups who dont want the hassle of hotel life. The villa complex is very clean and extremely well maintained, so much so that i was afraid to let the kids walk on the grass verges along the roadsides. Everything you need in food shopping and local restaurants are minutes away and 3 of the main outlet malls are only 5, 10 and 15 minutes away (you pass by 2 on the way to universal, premium outlets is the better of the 2, thats just before you take the ramp for the I 4). The villa is very clean and comfortable. It certainly feels more homely than some villas and hotels ive stayed in. i would have no problem recommending this villa or complex to anyone and would recommend anyone thinking of a holiday in florida to rent a villa. Its not like holiday resorts in the med where you can stroll around the town centres which are usually minutes from the hotel. (You really do need a car as it gives you much more freedom during your holiday and its very easy to find your way around once youve driven for a day or two there but do rent or bring a sat nav with you and spend a bit of time looking at the google map of orlando, there is a amn icon on the top of the zoom bar on the map and if you drag the icon to the road your staying on the google video map comes up and you can see the actual road in real time which gives you a chance to take note of a landmark near the turn you need to make. that saved me alot of heartache as the sat nav the car hire gave us was an old one and didnt recognised lake berkley).This eliminates any advantage you think your getting from staying in a hotel. Honestly, you try find a pedestrain crossing that isnt a mile from where you want to cross the road, its a great game to play if you want to wear out the kids. The complex was a little quiet but we went this october so i would expect it to be busier in the summer months. It was beautiful. A wonderful experience to stay in Cypriot village where everyone was friendly. The village is in the hills/mountains around Paphos but we didnt use a car until the end of the week. We had an initial problem with the hot water but this was sorted out as soon as we rang and the problem solved. The only slight problem was local dogs who barked all night. This wasnt a problem for everyone but was due to the way they are housed in the area. Its almost a week since we returned and I cant wait to go back.
