Hi,
this is John and Carol and welcome to our apartment in Paphos on the beautiful West coast of Cyprus.

I think it was only our second holiday here when it occurred to us that this was somewhere that we wouldnt mind spending the rest of our lives.

Even now were not really sure what it is about this magical island that is so magnetic, perhaps the scorching 340 days sun, the eye popping Blue Flag beaches, the crystal clear blue waters, the exotic fresh local food (Mmmmmmmm the food...), the delicious wines or perhaps with such friendly people (90% of which speak English) you just feel as though you are at home, but abroad!

Its crazy but not quite as crazy as buying the apartment you now see on our third visit a year later.

Anyway our apartment has now been delighting guests who are accustomed to luxury and who value privacy, freedom of choice and all the ameneties of a home from home for five years, as an inexpensive alternative to hotels.

It is going to be some years before we can fulfill our dream and live here but in the meantime we would love to have you stay as our guests and who knows, maybe some of the Cyprus magic will rub off on you? 

Imagine our delight when Paradise Gardens III won the coveted Bentley International Award for Best Cypriot Development for 2004, in its first year.

The older sister, Paradise Gardens II, won the Homes Overseas Silver award (in conjunction with BA and The Daily Telegraph) for Best Cypriot Apartments in the same year so you can be sure the standard of accommodation and quality of build is the very highest.

The complex is comprised of traditionally styled executive villas, townhouses, luxury apartments and penthouses with bright open spaces, large sun balconies surrounding luscious, scented gardens and a colourful, landscaped communal pool.

The pool itself is designed to catch the sun all day long and comes with its own spacious showers, toilets and changing rooms conveniently located poolside.

Our apartment has two large, air conditioned bedrooms with one double and two single beds. The large luxury sofa bed in the living area can easily sleep two adults.

There is ample built in storage space and hangers for you to make yourself really comfortable during your stay. All linen and towels (including beach) are provided as are an iron, ironing board and hair driers.

The bathroom has a bath and shower and is large enough for two people to be using it at once.

There are luxurious 2 & 3 piece suites for lounging in while watching the TV or DVD and sipping a brandy sour after a hard day on the beach.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, hob, oven, washer/drier and every labour saving device there is, enough for even the most demanding of chefs. Saving money while making delicious Mediterranean meals from fresh local produce couldnt be easier.

You can choose to savour your meal at the dinner table, cooled by a tropical ceiling fan for that exotic touch, or perhaps al-fresco on the balcony for that extra Summer experience.

Ideally located minutes away from sun drenched beaches, stunning archeological sites, themed pubs, vibrant night clubs and traditional tavernas and only 15 minutes from the airport, the apartment will delight all age groups and tastes. 

Cyprus has more to offer the visitor than any other Mediterranean island, a fascinating blend of landscape, climate, history and culture. There is a seemingly endless coastline of sandy coves and beaches washed gently by crystal clear blue waters.
Travel a little way from the coast into the pine forests , an hours drive in the Winter for skiing in the Troodos Mountains experience a kaleidoscope of colours in the Spring time meet the local people whose reputation for good food and hospitality is world-wide and you will discover for yourself why this magical island has been attracting people for over 9,000 years.

Birthplace of Aphrodite and in Roman times the capital of Cyprus, Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus and is situated on the southwest coast. Sheltered from the north by the Troodos Mountains, it has the healthiest climate in the Mediterranean. Paphos Harbour with its ancient castle, marine and water sports centres, is lined with colourful restaurants serving fresh fish and marine delicacies. Nearby are archaeological sites, rich with antiquities, providing an interest away from the usual - in fact UNESCO has included Paphos on its World Cultural Heritage List.

There are no private beaches on the island and Cyprus boasts dozens of European Blue Flag awards. The secluded sandy beaches are perfect for snorkelling and every watersport you can imagine.

If you want excitement then you may want to visit one of three world class water parks within easy reach that rival any in the world.

Or, if you want something more relaxing there are three top class golf courses (par 71/72) within 20 minutes drive.

Eating out in Cyprus is not only extremely cheap but also its virtually impossible to eat badly. A lot of the locals and tourists too, dont bother cooking at home they just eat out. You can get full English breakfasts for around £2 Cyp and even have a 20 to 30 course meal, the famous Cyprus Meze, for around £10 Cyp.
You can have a different Cypriot meal every night for two weeks and never eat the same thing twice, or if you miss Dear Old Blighty , there are Fish & Chips shops par excellence and even a Nippys Tea Shop to be found.

There truly is just too much of Cyprus to write about here. The best thing is to just make the effort to visit and we guarantee you will have the holiday of a lifetime.

What makes the perfect holiday? The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living area. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis.

christine says: "Property was well presented and clean.Everything we needed was supplied and surprisingly even a mobile phone!The balcony had sunlight throughout the day and overlooked an impressive pool.Highly recomended. The airconditioning in the twin bedroom remained on a high heat,so couldnt be used.We also found the shower very difficult to control,not much cold water coming through. Having said this we were given contact names in case a problem arose but didnt feel the need to bother them. Its between 15-20min walk to the town,plenty of taxis with a minimum charge of 8euros."
